From Minnesota to Miami

I decided to move from Minnesota to the University of Miami after my parents encouraged me to tour it, and I fell in love the second I stepped on campus. I had always wanted to leave Minnesota and experience something new, but when I got accepted, I remember being so scared of what the future would look like. Looking back, I wish I could tell that freshman version of me that everything was going to turn out even better than she imagined. This experience not only gave me an incredible education, but also built my confidence, my connections, and opened doors I never would have had if I stayed, it was the most rewarding risk I’ve ever taken!

My Education

2022-2026

B.S.C. Communication Studies
University of Miami

I began my college journey at the University of Miami as an architecture major, completing my first year in the studio and taking on intricate projects that challenged me creatively. Like many freshmen, I realized that path wasn’t the right fit and switched to Public Relations with minors in Marketing and Business Management. This new path has allowed me to combine creativity with strategy, focus on what I truly enjoy, and take pride in the work I produce, mainly in marketing and creative projects.

High School Diploma

I not only earned my diploma here, but also built the foundation for so much of who I am today. It’s where I met my lifelong friends, formed meaningful connections with teachers who have since become mentors, and grew into a leader as captain of my volleyball team. Through those experiences, I gained invaluable skills in leadership, teamwork, and perseverance that continues to shape me.
